Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver Course
Enroll in a NAUI Advanced Open Water Diver course to explore new dive sites and undertake exclusive activities under the supervision of an experienced NAUI Instructor. This course is a continuing education certification course for certified divers.
Prerequisites: Must have a Certification as a NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver or the equivalent, must have conducted a minimum of six of open water dives, must be 15 years of age (10-14 year of age for Junior Certification), complete Medical History Form and NAUI Waiver & Release Agreement by the beginning of the water phase of the course.

This course allows students to learn about specialties and diving activities of particular interest. Skills and confidence are built while experiencing the excitement of learning new things about the underwater world.
During training, students complete a minimum of six open water dives. Underwater navigation, night or low visibility diving and deep diving are three of the six dives, and the other three are decided upon based on individual preference and available options. Search and recovery, boat diving, light salvage, non-penetration wreck diving, diving for photos or videos are some of the specialty areas for the student to choose from.
The NAUI Advanced Open Water Diver course is for certified divers who desire additional training or orientation to a variety of diving sites and conditions. Divers must be a minimum of 12 years of age , in good health and must be certified as a NAUI Open Water Diver or industry equivalent. Two dives from our boats is included in the course price.
